The first launch by
GBSF to reach the business people of the world for Christ was in
November 1999, when Gary Shotton and Brad Stine traveled to Poland to
meet with Fred Simila and survey the interests and needs of that
country.
Since then we have had the opportunity to make new friends and forge
alliances in the following countries (starting with the most recent

Republic of
Georgia- December 2006
Five men from three churches visit a wonderful
missionary family
working with the Armenian people living in the Georgia.

Mexico
- September 2006
Scott Cloud, Andy Holloway, and Gary Shotton (seated

on the cites around the Toluca, Mexico area. The team
was joined with six successful Mexican businessmen most

David Kahle and wife, Coleen, traveled to Mexico where

Faithbridge Church from Houston, Texas sent a team of
five business and professionals to Poland on a
Faithbridge BMT. The team consisted of
Paulette Kovar (Missions Pastor), Robert Kovar
(Paulette's husband), Jack Dole, Emory Laningham, and
Bill Suter. The combined business experience

of the central time zone of Tulsa, Oklahoma to
experience an excited and motivate team of Christians
that were serving God openly in their local church and

Minsk which was a great experience. The business people
of Belarus were anxious and excited about the ministry

Japan which was very interesting. This trip was
not typical because the people of Japan are very sophisticated

business visitations, teaching in churches and enjoying
the fabulous Polish culture. |

Barcelona, Spain - February
2002
Gary Shotton participated in the annual convention
for the EuroPartners group where approximately 125 were in attendance
representing approximately 30 nations. |

Gary Shotton made an initial trip to Saltillo
Mexico to work with long time friends Kerry & Twyla Ruggles and to scout the land for future
BMTs. He encountered
a great reception at a morning Christian prayer group of approximately 50 men
who have been meeting regularly to study God's Word. |

Russia - October 2001
Gary Shotton traveled to St. Petersburg, Russia to meet
with Pastor Randall Crosby. The trip consisted of
establishing ground work for future BMTs and speaking in
the University of Business, St. Petersburg. The picture
shows Pastor Randall Crosby on a Monday night teaching
members of his congregation "Success Principles for
Life" along with encouraging them to draft business
plans. |

Poland -
October 2001
Gary Shotton met Fred Simila in Poland to open mentoring
groups in two new cities and discuss the possibilities
of Fred establishing the new company GBS-Poska, a
for-profit company. Gary taught at a Business mentoring
session in the city of Szczecin to approximately 50
eager business-minded people from the local church. Gary
then traveled on to Russia. |

August 2001
Mel Parker was the featured speaker in a paid seat
seminar titled “Winning in Sales”. Meanwhile, Gary
Shotton focused on strengthening existing relationships. |

Poland - May 2001
Conrad and Winifred Coussens with
Gary and Cindy Shotton introduced Poland to the American business-woman. This
trip included more Cultural Events giving the feel of a holiday tour with a
side trip into Czech Republic and Slovakia. Fred and Patti Simila established
the trip schedule. |

Estonia - May 2001
Gary Shotton made a solo trip to
Estonia to check out the possibilities of doing BMT events in the cities of
Tartu and Tallin. Pastor Albert Turnapu was the host. |

Poland - March 2001
Neal Bratschun, Mel Parker, and
Gary Shotton were active in Business Mentoring, Preaching in Churches,
Business Visitations, School Lectures and Cultural Events. This trip was made
possible by the diligent work of Fred Simila and was a
forerunner to the current structure used for a typical BMT. |

Poland - November 2000
This trip was focused around 3
days of prayer and fasting. Neal Bratschun, Conrad Coussens, and Gary Shotton
joined Fred Simila and Jan Wojnar at the head of the Wisla River to pray and
seek God’s direction for the organization. |

Poland - May 2000
The team was in Krakow, Poland to
present the first paid-seat seminar, fashioned after a “Peter Lowe Success
Seminar”. Jan Wojnar helped greatly. Speakers included Tim Redmond (and
Tim's wife Sandi), Rick Lineweaver, Neal Bratschun, Mel Parker, and Gary Shotton.
Fred Simila conducted the extreme amount of groundwork before and during the event which was necessary for this event to
be a success. |
