The team of five businessmen shared a three bedroom apartment for the week. The accommodations were clean and efficient but different from the good old USA. We are explaining the differences without complaining.
Keep in mind that the price of real estate is booming in all of the former Russian block countries. This apartment would normally be sold with only a concrete frame for each room and the new owner can remodel it any way they wish. This includes putting in the doors, and all of the interior flooring, finishing the walls, and etc. Below is the kitchen with a micro-wave that seemed to be from the 1980s.
Below is a part of the living room which had some antiques that would be envy of many antique dealers.
Below is one of the bedrooms and the TV with just a few channels but none in English.
Below is the hallway leading to the entrance, very modern looking in anyone's terms.
Below is the bathroom and laundry room combined. On days that their is no running water, there is an extra supply of water that could be heated on the stove and dipped over your head to take a shower.
The plan for 2007 is to have several teams go directly to Armenia and help Pastor Garik and his team. Pray with us according to this scripture: Proverbs 19:7 "The Law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making the simple wise". God has a plan for every person on earth and it starts with salvation. But then we are to grow up into a knowledge of Him and our calling in the Body of Christ.
Blessings to you, Gary Shotton and the GBSF Team
