God? Ivan Ivanovich Pashkevich is one of only two Christian congressman in the House of Representatives. The Business Mission Team visited his office during their trip to Minsk, Belarus the summer of 2003.
Right in the building of the Parliament in the most communistic post-Soviet republic, the team members prayed that the Lord would bless Ivan in everything he is doing. It really takes a lot of effort to keep some bills from being passed, or regulations from being accepted.
Having worked at the current president’s office several years ago, Ivan knows that there needs to be many Christian politicians and businessmen for the country of Belarus to change.
The congressman deeply appreciated the information that Gary Shotton and Baron Berry shared about the role of the state in the business life of a country. Ivan said that there are a lot of things that the people of Belarus could learn from Americans. He also thanked the team for coming and bringing knowledge and hope for the people.
Blessings to you, Gary Shotton and the GBSF Team David charged Solomon his son regarding leading the nation -- 1 Kings 2:3 "And keep the charge of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, and His commandments, and His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn yourself,"
