John and his wife, Sue, left the corporate life and moved to Broken Arrow in the early 1980's where they purchased the ACE Hardware franchise. John has stated that running a small business is a different experience from being employed by a large corporation and has many stories to share. He sold the ACE Hardware store about 10 years ago but still keeps his hands in several businesses and is a stock holder at First National Bank and Trust Co. in Broken Arrow. It seems that John has a God given gift to look at a business plan and know if it will work and he is willing to help the Next Generation of business people by sharing from his list of successes and disappointments in business.

Cindy Shotton home to hear a audio biography from Mr. John Fisher.

Mr.
John Fisher has agreed to be our "Seasoned
Businessperson" for the August meeting. John worked his
way up the ladder in the corporate world with Sears Corporation. He
has a lot of insight into international business with a "masters degree
in international business development". He traveled the world with
Sears Corp. with his office in Chicago. He setup and negotiated
"venture capital companies" for Sears.
